This Is Colossal is an absolute InterWeb staple for me, but when I happened across "New Smoke-Based Photographs by Ken Hermann Capture Colorful Bursts Suspended Within an Industrial Corridor" in my trusty ol' NewsBlur, I couldn't actually envision what it was trying to describe.
Turns out it was just about as literal a description of Ken Hermann's "Smoke" project as one could imagine. Take a look.
