This Time-Lapse Features A Place I've Actually Been: The Wind River Mountains

I'm pretty sure I've seen (and photographed) some of these places. And even though this video is lovely, it's not as lovely as its subject.

Back in August I went on a solo backpacking trip in Wyoming's Wind River mountain range. The trip took a total of three days; I began at the Pole Creek trailhead outside of Pinedale and hiked 11 miles in on the first day to Island Lake, where I set up camp. I spent the entire second day shooting this video, and then hiked out on the final day. I will definitely be back here some day. It was probably the most beautiful mountain range I have ever hiked in.
