"Handel Via Schiff" Is One Of My Favorite Phrases

Here's a wonderful keyboard suite, written by one of my favorite Baroque composers (Georg Friedrich Händel) and performed by one of my favorite pianists (András Schiff).

My only (super-mild) criticism? The charming menuet at the end doesn't feel like a great way to close out the suite; a bit too subdued. So I was fascinated to stumble across this account suggesting that its inclusion is more a matter of tradition than one of musical kinship.

I feel better now.
