Last week, I posted a little something in celebration of the brilliant classical guitarist Andrés Segovia. Then, a few days later, I posted something on percussive guitarist (and Modern Renaissance Man) Usman Riaz, who taught himself to play the guitar by watching Internet videos. So I'm guessing that this video from percussive guitarist (and founder and frontman of the Cinematic Black Metal band Xanthochroid) Sam Meador is a perfectly logical progression.
I really love the sound the body of the guitar makes when it's struck like this. It's always so much louder -- and yet, simultaneously, more mellow -- than I'm expecting. (Also, I have a friend who loves word jokes above all else, so this post title is for him.)
